How do we do it?

Our courses are designed to support parents and carers who may be isolated, lack confidence or stressed. Family Learning provide opportunities for parents to learn at their own pace and in partnership with their children. Our courses help families to re-engage with their community, make friends, further their learning and possibly gain employment.

Family Learning provides an opportunity for parents and children to learn and work together. A shared time with no distractions; just families learning and having fun together! We provide a chance to create memories develop skills and rekindle new interests. A ‘learning family’ encourages and enthuses, raises aspirations and helps to promote lifelong learning.

How do we work with your organisation?

Our vibrant team work with you to identify and meet the learning needs and aspirations of your families as well as the goals of your organisation.

We provide a wide range of interesting and accessible classes where adults can learn alongside their children. We also provide adult only classes which develop specific skills like learning English, floristry, parenting and much more.

Children and adults are awarded a certificate of achievement at the end of their course.

Group size, length of courses and patterns of delivery
Group sizes can be from 8-12 adults. For face-to-face learning, each adult can bring one child. We also offer distance-learning courses whereby adults can support more than one child.

All courses are 6 weeks long and are delivered at the school/organisation venue or via distance learning. A 6 week long commitment is required from the learners.

What do we need from you?

As all courses are FREE all we need for from you is to provide the venue, publicise our courses and recruit families to join the programmes.

We will provide exceptional and skilled tutors, resources and targeted courses, which develop life-long skills and aim to close the achievement gap.
