The course is suitable for those who want to begin using spreadsheets and apply their new knowledge to accounts.
No, but you will receive a BAES certificate of attendance.
You need to have used IT before (perhaps for word processing or surfing the internet) but you don’t need any spreadsheet experience. The course is not suitable for complete beginners to IT.
By the end of the course you will be able to:
Creating a spreadsheet to record your accounts. You could consider doing a further IT qualification, depending on your skill level, such as Level 1 or 2 IT Skills or ECDL.
You will be taught in a group and through individual practice, with assistance from your tutor.
You will need a pen, notepad, and a folder to store hand-outs and completed exercises.
To achieve success on the course you will need to attend regularly, and on time. If you need to miss a class, please let us know in advance.
