At some point in life we all need to find our own path

Are you 16-18 and looking for a study programme that better meets your needs?

If you’re not confident about going to a large college or sixth form or not ready for an apprenticeship, we could have the right path for you.

Our study programmes run for around 18 hours per week and include:

  • A vocational qualification
  • English and maths if you don’t already have a grade C at GCSE
  • Employability skills
  • Meaningful work experience
  • Pastoral care from a personal tutor and regular tutorials with your subject tutors

Environmental Conservation

Love being outdoors? Looking for work that makes a difference to the world we live in? Then this could be for you.

Delivered in partnership with Birmingham Youth Service and the National Trust, this includes a Level 1 or 2 qualification in Environmental Conservation and work experience on National Trust land around Birmingham.

Digital Design

Do you want to work in digital technology? Want to create websites and apps, develop computer games, learn the basics of programming and use of social media in a professional context?

At the end of the course you will gain an ITQ Level 1 certificate plus work experience in a digital setting.

Health and Social Care

If you’d like to work in the care sector, this pathway is for you.

We offer Health and Social Care qualifications from Entry 3 to Level 3, plus work experience in a care setting.

Working with children or young people

If you’d like to become a Teaching Assistant or Nursery worker, these are your pathways.

We offer vocational qualifications at Level 2 or 3, plus work experience in a school or nursery. You will need to work towards level 2 in English and maths as part of this study programme.
