This course will enable you to learn basic skills for producing crafts for charity

During the course you will look at skills within the field.

Include elements of research and development into your working projects.

Consider how to develop and transfer your subject knowledge for community/ citizenship use.

No – this is a non-accredited course.

Course Length

Courses last from approx 11 to 24 weeks, and sessions are for 2.5 hours.

Who is this course for?

This course if for anyone who wants to learn the basics of producing crafts for charity either for self-improvement, to aid relaxation, or to progress to other courses.

Do I need any prior knowledge, skills or qualifications?

You won’t need previous experience. You will have a short initial assessment at the start of the course to ensure that it is suitable for you.

This course will provide you with basic knowledge and skills you will need to join other courses.

To ensure that you gain maximum benefit from this course you will need to attend all sessions, be punctual and bring the correct materials and equipment to each session.

Course fees do not cover the cost of equipment or materials. For the first session, please bring a pen, paper and a folder for your work . As the course progresses, you will need to buy other sundry items. Your tutor will advise you about the detail
