Our new creative digital media courses will help you to create websites, mobile apps, video, graphics and animation. By the end of the course you will have gained a great understanding of a wide range of creative industries, such as electronic publishing and multimedia production.

The Digital and Creative sector offers a wide range of opportunities for those with Level 2 qualifications in TV, film and print, through to more advanced roles as technicians in fashion studios or broadcast production, or roles in digital marketing and social media for those achieving Level 3 qualifications.

Information and Creative Technology - Level 2 Award (120 Hours)

This course provides the opportunity to gain a broader understanding and knowledge of the Information Technology sector and some aspects of the creative industries e.g. electronic publishing or multimedia production

BTEC National Extended Certificate in Creative Digital Media Production - Level 3 (208 Hours)

Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificates in Creative Digital Media Production is designed for post-16 learners who aim to progress to higher education and ultimately to employment, possibly in the media industries, as part of a programme of study alongside other BTEC Nationals or A levels.

Introduction to Digital Marketing - Level 1 Award (24 Hours)

This exciting new course introduces you to the important world of Digital Marketing. In this course you will undertake the planning and management of a marketing campaign. You will research a range of platforms used for digital marketing such as print and digital advertising, websites and social media to inform the creation of your own campaign. This may be to promote a product or raise awareness of an issue. You will review you work in response to the design brief and outline any improvements for future practice.


Introduction to Graphic Design – Level 1 Award (48 Hours)

This exciting new course introduces you to industry standard photography, illustration, imaging and design software. You will create an individual design work that will be assessed throughout the course. You will learn to use correct methods and procedures to get the right look and feel, such as colour and file sizes. You will then learn to export the designs for further use and manipulation. This may be used, for example, to create a series of logos and graphical designs to be used for web sites and brochures for a small charity or local company.


Become a Graphic Designer - Level 2 Award (48 Hours)

This exciting course introduces you to new ideas about design, photography, illustration, design software and image editing skills. You will confidently use a wide range of techniques and processes imaginatively to develop own ideas. You will create an individual portfolio of work that will help you to progress to a Level 3 study. By the end of the course you will be able to create use graphics and design software tools to create, manipulate and edit the design of images.
